Blastoise #009

Blastoise overview

Blastoise is a Water type Shellfish Pokémon and holds number #9 in the National Pokédex.

It stands 1.6 m tall and weighs 85.5 kg, and it was first introduced in Generation I where it is typically found in Waters Edge habitats.

The rocket cannons on its shell fire jets of water capable of punching holes through thick steel. It crushes its foe under its heavy body to cause fainting. In a pinch, it will withdraw inside its shell. Once it takes aim at its enemy, it blasts out water with even more force than a fire hose.
