Butterfree overview
Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokémon, is a dual Bug and Flying type Pokémon registered at National Pokédex number 12.
It stands 1.1 m tall and weighs 32 kg, and it was first introduced in Generation I where it is typically found in Forest habitats.
It collects honey every day. It rubs honey onto the hairs on its legs to carry it back to its nest. In battle, it flaps its wings at great speed to release highly toxic dust into the air. Its wings, covered with poisonous powder, repel water. This allows it to fly in the rain.
