Kakuna #014

Kakuna overview

Listed as #14 in the National Pokédex, Kakuna is a dual Bug and Poison type Cocoon Pokémon.

It stands 0.6 m tall and weighs 10 kg, and it was first introduced in Generation I where it is typically found in Forest habitats.

Able to move only slightly. When endangered, it may stick out its stinger and poison its enemy. Kakuna remains virtually immobile as it clings to a tree. However, on the inside, it is extremely busy as it prepares for its coming evolution. This is evident from how hot the shell becomes to the touch. While awaiting evolution, it hides from predators under leaves and in nooks of branches.
